Santa and his horses


Welcome..and thanks for stopping by to check out this wonderful little santa and his two horses, made from a Hidden in the Attic pattern.
Santa stands approximately 6 inches tall and is made of muslin...coat is painted a sage green. The trim is strips of old wool. A tiny just belt is tied around waist. His facial features include needle sculped nose and painted eyes and brows. His beard is sheeps wool which is securely needle felted in place. He carries a bundle of sticks on his back which are tied together with jute and tucked into his belt.
His two horses are made of painted muslin. They have painted batting ears and needle sculpted eyes and mouth...mane and tail are brown sheeps wool needle felted in place. I have given each reins of aged linen string. Sticks are used for legs and will stand quite nicely. The large one stands approximately 4 inches tall and the small one 2 inches.
This set would make a wonderful addition to your Christmas decor...on a shelf or tucked in a cubby. They will come to you carefully packaged from my smoke free home. Kandy Kane Snowman


Welcome...and thanks for stopping by to check out my latest snowman, which I have named Kandy Kane!
Kandy Kane is approximately 19 inches tall and is made of muslin which has been painted and aged. Facial features are embroidered with a small stuffed painted nose. A simple rusted wire and star garland is stitched to head for halo...doesn't he look sweet and innocent!!
He is wearing a simple pair of red and white stripe pants with rusted pins with bells attached to hold suspenders in place. A strip of aged cheesecloth is tied around neck. He is holding a wonderful vintage looking sisal candy cane and a little green sisal tree. An old red ornament hangs from his hands.
Last but not least, I have given him a tag bearing his name...KANDY KANE! I love the way this sweet little guy turned out. I have used a Veena's Mercantile pattern to create this little guy, but added a few of my own twists to him.

prim snowmen

These wonderful prim snowmen are created from a wonderful TFC Folk Art pattern. They are made of heavily aged osnaburg with embroidered facial features and a little stick nose. A small hat is attached to top of head...twig arms sewn on with a little piece of greenery attached to one arm. Homespun scarf tied around neck. I have added a little sand to bottom so they will easily sit wherever you wish. They are approximately 10 1/2 inches from top of tall little hat to bottom of body.

Christmas Santa Ornie



These two ornies were made from a wonderful Crows Roost Prims pattern. They are so cute and prim! They measure approximately 8 1/2 inches tall...made from coffee dyed muslin. Bodies, hats and feet are painted on. Facial features include pinch stitched nose and embroidered eyes...sheep's wool sewn and needle felted in place. Strung between hands is a piece of rusted wire with bells and tiny candy canes attached. French knots sewn on for buttons up front of body.

Prim Santa ornies


Welcome...and thanks for stopping by to check out this set of six ornies. These are very prim snowmen ornies created from a wonderful Crows Roost Prims pattern. They measure approximately 10 inches tall. They are made from osnaburg then painted. Facial features include stitched eyes brows and mouth...nose is a long little stick which is painted and stitched in place. I have added a piece of red tinsel around top of face and then added a rusted bell to top of long hat!
